Directions:
1.
Heat the
vegetable oil in a heavy pot.
2. Saute the sliced onions
until lightly golden.
3. Add cooked beans,
garlic, bay leaf and bean cooking liquid.
4. Stir gently and
continuously for about 5 minutes over low heat
while keeping the the beans whole.
5. Add cooked rice and
continue to stir for 10 minutes.
6. Add salt if desired, to
taste.
